March of Dogs 2019
5.5"x5.5", softcover, 32 pages, full colour
These sweet little books contain all 31 illustrations done during March of Dogs (choose 2018 or 2019), my self-imposed challenge to create 31 dog drawings in 31 days. They're printed on lovely thick matte paper so that if you dare to add more colour to the images, your inner artist will be pleased.
These books are available directly from me at my studio for CAN$18 or I can ship it worldwide for CAN$24. Each shipped book includes a 5" square fine art print, suitable for framing. The print is luck-of-the-draw, but if you order more than one book you will never receive two of the same print.
Furry Logic volume 2 - a notebook about life & dogs
6"x9", softcover, 80 pages, full colour
"Following up on the success of her first blank(ish) journal, Furry Logic (volume 1), Wells has peppered volume 2 with 40 new quirky and humourous dog illustrations, punctuated with more of her original bone mots and arf-orisms.
Don't let the worn look of this journal fool you. While the pages have a lightly aged and textured look, they are actually a lovely smooth texture, well-suited to any dry media including pencil, pen, and charcoal. If you've ever felt the fear of a blank page, this may be the cure! As you fill the pages with your own observations on life, doodles, or grocery lists, you may find yourself gaining an appreciation for the world from a new perspective: a four-legged one!"
This book is available at blurb.ca, blurb.com, blurb.co.uk, or directly from me at my studio. From me: CAN$20 + CAN$8 shipping. The cost of the book directly from me seems a bit more than online, but you'll come out ahead because I don't charge tax and the shipping is much cheaper. Drop me an email to order.
Furry Logic (the first one)- a notebook about life & dogs
6"x9", softcover, 80 pages, full colour
"Scattered throughout the pages of this notebook are Krista Wells' colourful and quirky paintings and drawings, punctuated by her own "bone mots" and "arf-orisms" as well as quotes from the likes of Kafka and Groucho Marx. As you fill the blank pages with your own observations on life, doodles, or grocery lists, you may find yourself gaining an appreciation for the world from a new perspective: a four-legged one."

Dog-eared Journals art and observations from a dog living in Portugal
8.5"x8.5", softcover, 100 pages, full colour
"Ruca is a street dog and artist living in a quiet village on the south coast of Portugal. This is a collection of entries from his illustrated journals, curated by his dog-loving Canadian friend Krista Wells. See the world through Ruca's eyes as he navigates the cobbled streets and rugged cliff tops of his life. His perspective is fresh, four-legged, and often funny. Each page is lavishly illustrated using a variety of techniques including pen and ink, watercolour, coloured pencil, photography, relief printing and more."

Polymer Clay Mosaics
"Forget the glass and ceramics; just put polymer clay through a pasta machine to make very thin sheets, cut that into small squares, and voila! Crafters have mosaic tiles in whatever shape and color they want, perfect for gluing onto any surface for beautiful decorative objects. And because the polymer weighs so much less than ceramic, these tesserae work better on smaller projects, and offer more flexibility.
Simple instructions and color photos present all the basics of this appealing craft, and the great projects include jewelry, mirror decorations, house signs, coasters, tabletops, garden items, and more."
