My TOTES are made of durable yet lightweight, poly poplin fabric and have a poly/cotton lining. All seams and stress points are double stitched for durability. They are washable, have a sturdy 1" wide cotton webbing strap for comfortably carrying over your shoulder, and feature my original artwork on both sides. How much can you fit into the small tote?

The small tote bag is the perfect size to hold two copies of Hilary Mantel's Booker Prize-winning novel Wolf Hall (although why anyone would want even one copy is beyond me); a 9"x12" sketchbook; 17 coloured pencils; a blue cheese and red pepper sandwich; and three Siamese kittens.

How much can you fit into the large tote?

The large tote bag is the perfect size to hold the 725 page hardcover edition of Lansdowne's Birds of the Forest (pub. 1989); both the Compact Oxford English Dictionary and the Compact Oxford Thesaurus; 42 periwinkle shells, a slingshot; a broken iPhone6; a Mars bar; and two Labradoodle puppies.

Canadian shopper? Read this: My tote bags are produced by an American company, Redbubble. If I could find a Canadian company to do this, believe me, I'd be onto it like a dirty shirt! As it is, you can purchase directly from Redbubble or from me at Art Lab. If you're in the U.S., it's not an issue. But if you're in Canada and ordering via Redbubble, it can get expensive when you consider the exchange rate, shipping, HST, and often a seemingly arbitrary $10 fee slapped on by the delivery company. You'd be much better off having a look at my designs available on Redbubble, then dropping me an email to see if I have what you're looking for. Then I'll ship it to you from Canada for $8. No HST. They're printed on lovely thick matte paper so that if you dare to add more colour to the images, your inner artist will be pleased.
